We'll explore beautiful Cape Town and experience its impressive culinary scene, taste our way through the Swartland and Franschhoek wine regions and search for lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes and more on safari in the private Kapama Game Reserve.

Join winemaker Mark Newton of DiStefano winery and Chef Dani on a tour through Franciacorta and Tuscany's Maremma region. This small group tour will explore Italy's sparkling wine region and experience Chef Dani's home region of Maremma. End with our friend, Chef Sonia, in Rome for a private market and culinary tour. Join Woodinville winemaker Charlie Auclair on this wine extravaganza through Bolgheri as you sip some of the top Super Tuscans during private wine tastings. Continue to Maremma where you'll dine in Chef Dani's farmhouse kitchen, taste his home-grown olive oil and sample local wines like Ciliegiolo. Chef Dani will show you his favorite spots in his home region as you uncover the hidden gems of this under-traveled area of Tuscany . September 16-22 & 24-30 2026: Grape Harvest (Vendemmia) Tours
Join winemakers Carla Benini and Edoardo Ventimiglia at Sassotondo during harvest season in Maremma. Participate in wine making activities, enjoy cooking classes with Chef Dani, and explore local sites while learning about organic farming and rare grape varietals. This is a small group limited to 8 travellers on each tour.

Witness the Villa Belpasso olive harvest first-hand and participate in the field to bottle process of this small-scale organic olive oil production. In addition to the harvest, you'll learn about and explore the ruins of the ancient Etruscan civilization, visit the best local wineries with special access available to The Picnic Table Italy guests and get your hands dirty cooking Maremma specialties with Chef Dani in his farmhouse kitchen.
